This is really a nice app with lots of remarkable quotes. The design is noble and its fantastic to insert my own quotes by famous people. Thats a big point!  Go on with your ideas and Im anxious to get to know other apps by Hand Carved Code!!! 

Could have more quotes (i.e. current people). But most of the selected quotes are well chosen. Layout and design is good and speed is fast. Will be a 5 with improvements on update.

I love this app. Refer to it everyday. Email quotes to friends everyday. Has great interface and ease of navigation. It would be great if emailed quotes are marked to avoid duplication.

This app is one is quite useful, especially for a dollar. The interface is easy and quick to use, and with the Wikipedia connection it is quite easy to do research into certain authors. Anytime I have to write an essay,(being in high school)I use one of the many quotes found throughout the app,which are a quite way to grab any readers attention. The fact that you can make a favorite list is excellent, making your own list of well-liked quotes. I have had this for while and have yet to find any bugs or cliches. Overall, you great way more than what you pay for.

Reading a few quotes using this app is always a pleasure!

Love this app, but what would make it greater is the ability to upload the quote on the photo background as it appears in the app. A small emotional picture helps the visual impact of the quote, especialy on FB or Twitter. Or even better, give us the option of copying the quotes over our on photos and then uploading them. Okay, it lacks 2 great options. 

The previous version was compatible on older gen iphones and itouches. This new one now require the new OS 3.0 or higher. A complete waste of money as Im unlikely going to buy a new iTouch simple to use this app. Why they changed the system requirenment AFTER you bought it and used it for 6 months is beyond me.

The one app I use everynight before bed, makes you think and laugh. Recent updates with connections to Twitter and Facebook make this 5 stars

Notable Quotes shines with superb user interface, not an overly large quantity of excess quotations. I especially enjoy the ease at which I can add personal favorites to the mix. Sure, I have other "note taking" apps on my iPod, but having a space purely dedicated for quotes and one that is so aesetically pleasing won me over. I love that I can turn the background images off. I usually need a reminder of thoughts/words that turn the tide completely on their own, without other associations. But I also imagine it would be a fantastic added functionality to upload a personal image or images for the backgrounds of certain quotes. For example, my niece has some great one liners and Id pair her image on the page. Im fine without Reagan quotes, but if you feel strongly about a certain one, a polished Churchill or Steinbeck passage, then you can easily add it yourself! REALLY, only a 1 STAR rating because it doesnt contain quotes you want?? I guess the developer was supposed to read YOUR mind. I will never understand the outrageous entitlement, the many unreasonable expectations that so many app store reviewers have.
